John Acevedo is a distinguished showcase performer renowned for captivating audiences at clubs, festivals, restaurants, and various venues across Houston. With over 30 years of experience in composing and playing guitar, he seamlessly blends his deep roots in traditional flamenco with a soulful, contemporary edge. Incorporating elements of R&B and Blues, his music is hypnotic, fiery, and passionate—what he calls “Flamenco Jazz” or “Nouveau Flamenco.”

As a talented Flamenco Jazz Guitarist, John adds a touch of class and elegance to any venue or special event. Live music, especially guitar, remains one of the most cherished entertainment choices for memorable occasions.

John’s impressive résumé includes performing as a duo for 11 seasons as a Club Level Showcase Musician at Houston Texans home games, and 12 years as the Annual Banquets Musician at the Downtown Aquarium.
