Meet Bodie! He has been surrendered to us due to seizures and blood work that indicated a strong possibility of a liver shunt. 🙁
We had bile acids done on Friday and they were extremely high, so it probably is a portosystemic shunt; but, he will be referred to Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists tomorrow by our vet so that we can get a definitive diagnosis.
We appreciate anything you can do to help us get Bodie to feeling well. Poor baby is estimated to be 2 – 3 years old and likely has been ill his entire life.
