Jaxon joined the Yorkie Haven Rescue family with severe heart issues, and his condition is currently critical. His heart is backed up with fluid, which has led to a congestive heart failure episode. He recently received emergency care, including oxygen therapy and medications to reduce fluid buildup. Thanks to these meds, Jaxon is more stable, and his treatment plan has been adjusted to keep him comfortable.
While we can’t predict how much time he has left, our priority is to make every moment joyful and peaceful for him. Jaxon has a cheerful disposition—he loves to eat, and he’s quite clever about letting his foster mom know when it’s time for his medicine, often earning a tasty treat.
He enjoys going outside but may have accidents when no one is home, mostly due to the medication he’s on. Jaxon is a loving companion who enjoys snuggling on your lap, lying beside you, or sleeping in bed with the family. He’s very friendly and affectionate, and he’ll let you know when new people arrive with a bark.
