Meet River!
Say hello to our energetic and lovable 11-month-old girl, who will be turning one at the end of August. River is a bundle of high energy and loves to play! In her foster home, she eagerly tries to get all the pups involved—bouncing, pawing, and turning any barking into a fun game. Despite her lively nature, she’s very submissive and gentle with other dogs, often lying down or rolling over if she senses any upset.
River loves toys, bones, and playing fetch, and she’s working on her house training and reducing her jumping. She’s crate trained and travels well in the car, happily relaxing in her seat. She’s also learning commands, though she can be easily distracted outside by all the distractions.
Her ideal home has active owners who enjoy walking and playing with her—fenced yard preferred for safe fun. She’s great with older children and would thrive in a loving, energetic family ready to give her the attention and training she needs.
