Well, I’ve spent 13 wonderful years with my mom, but due to recent changes, we made the tough choice for me to find a new home. It was hard for both of us, but we believe it’s for the best. At 13, I like to call myself “vintage!”
I’m a delightful 5 pounds of fluff, and while my teeth are retired (soft food is my specialty!), my vision is good enough to see you returning home, prompting joyous happy dances! I prefer minimal absences as they make me anxious and I’ll let you know by whining—I’m quite the persistent one.
I’m a true people-pup and enjoy being the only pet, though I can tolerate a cat if needed. I won’t share the spotlight with another dog, especially not a female, as jealousy runs in my charm.
A cuddle champion at heart, I’ll snuggle with you every night. I’ve mastered the doggy stairs—talk about smarts! I enjoy daily walks but am happiest when curled up in your lap.
I thrive in a calm and predictable environment, so young children may not be the best fit for me. While I’ve learned the doggy door at my foster home, I’m not too keen on toys—too much energy!
I adore both my foster mom and dad, cozying up on the couch, but come bedtime, I quickly scurry up the doggy stairs to snuggle close to my foster mom.
