We all love our coffee, and there are few drinks out there that bring us as much joy and contentment as a cup of coffee does. In that cup of coffee, there is a kick that wakes you up in the morning. Some people are unable to start their day without having their morning coffee. Some people have black coffee in the morning, the drink’s purest form.
Other people like to mix different amounts of milk and sweetener to create several different types of coffee. Each is a matter of personal preference, and no one type of coffee can claim to be the best kind.

Typhoon, a Prague-based company, has introduced a machine that uses hot air when roasting. The machine offers a hybrid product line with a drum-based, fluid bed heat application.
This machine has hydraulic lifts that are at the base. This base will raise and tile the unit forward, prompting a release into a cooling tray. This will combine drum rotation speeds, drum geometry, and improved airflow management. In doing so, the cooling process will be shortened, and there will also be a way to create a target temperature within the finished roasted beans.
Rubasse has claimed they will achieve much faster temperature adjustments using a NIR-based design. Furthermore, there will be simultaneous use of heat which will use radiation, conduction, and convection while also minimizing heat loss in the roasting chamber.
Previously known as Griin, the Israeli-based startup has created a subscription service that provides specialty-grade coffee beans in conjunction with a new countertop roasting appliance. This appliance uses ‘volumetric heating’ to produce an almost instant roast. This instant roast is then sent right into any super-automatic brewing machine that you might have.
Ikawa, the sample roaster, has introduced a new model into its lineup. The Ikawa Pro 100 has the exact dimensions as the ProV3 sample roaster but is built with double the roasting capacity. You get a lot more done in a package that is the same size.
This product has been introduced as a wet scrubber to replace incineration-based afterburners. The Eco Filter is the flagship product that aims to be a cleaner replacement for existing odor and smoke reduction systems in the coffee roasting industry.
Like any other technology, different innovations are being made in the coffee industry. This includes newer machines, different techniques to make it, roasting techniques for coffee beans, and different flavor blends.
All of this accounts for different ways to enjoy an iconic drink that so many people are in love with. It shows how technology can change the way we live and the food and drink that we put into our bodies. Moving forward, it is essential that we continue to work on our love for coffee but also make sure we do it responsibly.
Climate change is a genuine problem that our planet is facing. As human beings, we must make sure we all do our part to care for the planet. There is no contribution too big or too small. Hence, you can play your part and make sure you consume your favorite drink most sustainably.
For producers and roasters, they need to be responsible for how they conduct their business. They can replace old machinery with new energy-efficient ones that save them money on overheads and produce less waste, i.e., be good for the environment.
Coffee is here to stay. There is no way people will stop drinking coffee, regardless of the implications. To become more sustainable and responsible, we should make sure that we use and implement any technology that will make it cleaner and more efficient.
